Warbird Maintenance:

-We've been turning wrenches for years on Warbirds from PT-26's to B-25's, C-47's and P-38's. Regular maintenance for your warbird- engine/airframe, Annuals, upgrades, Avionics, overhauls you name it. A&P and IA mechanics are on staff. We have a philosophy that can be boiled down in simple terms.... just fix it. These are old, complex airplanes, often with hard to find or expensive parts. Safety of flight is our primary objective-- in essence we've coopted the medical Hippocratic oath "First do no harm" for us that means we fix it as we go along... don't defer a safety of flight issue. If it means we don't fly a particular mission, or we delay it, then those are the breaks. Drop by our shops, bring your warbird or we'll give you a broom, or even better a polishing rag and you can begin volunteering.

We use the tech data from WWII (or whatever era the airplane came from) and all the knowledge and insight we can beg borrow or buy from other warbird folks around the country. At last tally our mechanics have nearly 100 years of experience maintaining these old birds. Whatever we take apart, we can usually get back together--- after all there is a Holiday Inn Express really close!

Seriously, if you need some work on your warbird, give us a call. We can ferry anything just give us a call. We've demated wings, fuselages (and put them back), engines, you name it. We've done major work on R-2600's, R-1820's, R-1830's, AN-1340's and W670's. Props... jeez let's talk props! B-25's, C-47's all the way to Stearman's. We prefer round motors, but must confess to even seeing a Ranger before. Working on these airplanes is our life... give us a call and we'll see what we can do.

Donation Programs

We'll take your airplane and breath new life into it... preserving it for generations to come. We're a 501c3 organization and your donation would be tax deductible (of course you've got talk with your accountant). We are particularly interested in WWII trainers, fighters on to the present day.

Give Program Director Jimbo Lasche a call and we'll work out a program that will "Keep 'em Flying!"
